Commercial Exterior

Cool grey and burgundy colors selected by the architect were not well received by the church congregation. Directed by Simple Modern Style, a ten person congregational committee reviewed colors and created a new color palette recommendation.

A warmer, more inviting desert suede was selected for the body of the church which was quickly approved by session and the city planning department. Objections to the burgundy were solved when the color was warmed up to a deep crimson. These color also set the direction for the interior color design.

County of Ventura

“The County of Ventura would like to take a moment to express its appreciation for your firm’s professionalism and consistently high quality work. Despite the aggressive schedule and difficult task of coordinating with multiple jurisdictions, your consulting team met all of its deadlines and kept my staff informed of the progress throughout each task under the contract. We were particularly impressed with your initiative in researching the accuracy of the bits and pieces of information transmitted to you by various individuals. In your research, you uncovered several inconsistencies that otherwise may have gone unnoticed by Committee members.”

Residential Exterior

Homeowner needed to sell a family home quickly. The home's colors were out of date and looking worn and it had been on the market with no offers for over two months.

Developed a neutral cream palette with a light contrasting trim for a non-objective and freshening color solution to selling the home.

“I was truly amazed by the transformation of the house. It expedited the sale of the house to two weeks! It was like night turned into day!”

Your ever present touch of class to all that we did, and your ability to keep us focused were such gifts, on top of all of the volunteer time you put into the graphics, advertising, fundraising and programs. Your contribution was huge and your serenity and friendship was even better. Thanks, Sandy, for being such a good soul."

Residential Interior

Interior of owner's new home was dated. To refresh  and modernize the interior the homeowner wanted a fresh coat of paint and updated window coverings.

"Sandy is very professional and loves color. The colors she chose for my home just flow from one room to the other and she was able to meet my goals of having a restful and peaceful choice of colors for the whole house. She was able to tie in the existing furniture and bedding colors so that the whole house is harmonious and yet the expense was minimized. some of the space was difficult to use and she helped with the floor plans also. The best part is hearing the 'wows!' from my guests who just love the 'after'. — Rev. Lynn E., Homeowner
